Nederland en de Apartheid – Omroep Max / NPO Luister

Audio mixing & music composition

Ten years after the passing of Nelson Mandela and 75 years after the introduction of apartheid, Joya Mooi and Remco Tomesen investigate the Dutch role in the apartheid regime. Remco Tomesen asked me to contribute to the music and sound for this special podcast by Omroep Max / NPO Luister.

The main music theme was composed by Fundile Dlamini from Johannesburg, in the recognizable South African style. I then had the pleasure to compose additional music to build tension at the right moments or subtly enhance the compelling stories being told. After that, I focused on the audio mixing and a small amount of sound design. 🙂
